Protect your loved one
from unwanted calls

The senior doesn't install any app. You, as the guardian, decide who can call them. Unknown numbers go through our AI screening.

How does it work? See features

Seniors are the most frequent victims of phone scams

The "grandchild trick", fake banks, suspicious salespeople — your loved one shouldn't have to worry about this.

Scammers call every day

Seniors answer every call because they don't know who's calling. Scammers exploit their trust and stress.

Fear of technology

Your loved one doesn't want to install apps. They don't understand notifications and settings. They need a simple solution.

No guardian control

You don't know who calls your loved one. You learn about the scam only when it's too late.

Simple system in 4 steps

The senior doesn't have to do anything. No app, no settings. Full control is in your hands.

Activate protection

Download the CallNinja app and set up call forwarding on the senior's phone. It's a one-time setup.

Senior only answers known callers

Calls from contacts in the phonebook go through normally. The rest are silently rejected.

You get a notification

Every rejected call appears in the app. You know who called and when.

You decide what happens next

Add the number to the whitelist (will call directly) or send it to the AI Receptionist, who will find out who's calling and why.

Everything you need as a guardian

Zero installation for the senior

The senior doesn't need to install or understand anything. Their phone works as always — known numbers ring, the rest are silently filtered.

Whitelist

One click adds a number to trusted contacts. From now on it rings directly on the senior's phone.

AI Receptionist

AI answers calls from unknown numbers. Politely asks who's calling and why, then reports the result to you.

Full call history

See all rejected calls: number, time, number of contact attempts. You have the full picture.

Risk assessment

Every call is analyzed. The system warns you when it recognizes a pattern typical for fraud.

Multiple guardians

You can invite siblings or other close people to co-manage the senior's protection.

Protect your loved one today

Setup takes 5 minutes. The senior doesn't have to do anything. You have full control.

Frequently asked questions

Confirmed
The senior needs a phone that can reject calls from numbers not in the contact book. Compatible devices:
  • iPhone — "Silence Unknown Callers" feature
  • Senior phones with whitelist — e.g., Doro 7050, Doro PhoneEasy 612
Most basic phones (Maxcom, myPhone, Nokia 105) only offer a blacklist and are not suitable for full protection.
Unfortunately, no. Android doesn't have a native function to reject calls from numbers not in the contact book. The available mechanisms have significant limitations:
  • Block unknown callers — only blocks calls with a hidden number. If the number is visible but unknown — the call goes through
  • "Do Not Disturb" mode — can silence calls from numbers not in contacts, but only mutes the ringer — the caller can still get through if they wait. It also blocks app notifications
For this reason, CallNinja requires an iPhone or a dedicated senior phone with a whitelist (e.g., Doro 7050).
The entire setup takes about 5 minutes. You download the CallNinja app on your phone, then configure the senior's phone once. Two steps:
  • Block unfamiliar numbers — on iPhone, turn on "Silence Unknown Callers"; on a senior phone (e.g., Doro), use the built-in whitelist
  • Call forwarding — you set up forwarding of rejected calls to the CallNinja number via a USSD code. This lets us know who called and enables the AI Receptionist
From that point on, the senior doesn't have to do anything.
On iPhone, rejected calls still appear in the recent calls list. If the senior calls back such a number, iOS will treat it as a known number and allow it to call directly — as long as the number remains in the call history (last 100 calls). That's why it's important to instruct the senior not to call back unfamiliar numbers, or to periodically clear the call history.
This is a crucial distinction:
  • Unknown number — the caller intentionally hides their number. The screen shows "Private number" or "Unknown". Most phones can block these calls
  • Unfamiliar number — the number is visible (e.g., +48 123 456 789), but it's not in the senior's contact book. This is how most scammers actually call
CallNinja protects against both. Many phones (especially Android) only block hidden numbers while letting unfamiliar numbers through — which is why they're not suitable for full protection.
To be confirmed
The call is silently rejected — the senior's phone doesn't ring. You, as the guardian, receive a notification with the number and time of the call. You then have three options:
  • Add to senior's contacts — the number goes into their phone book and future calls will ring directly on the senior's phone
  • Blacklist — the number gets permanently blocked
  • AI Receptionist — our assistant answers the next call from this number and finds out who's calling and why
Every rejected call instantly appears in your app. You can quickly add the doctor's number to the senior's contact book so future calls go through directly. You can also use the AI Receptionist — our assistant will answer the next call, politely ask who's calling, and send you a report.
The AI Receptionist is our virtual assistant that answers calls from unfamiliar numbers. It politely asks the caller who they are and what they're calling about. Then it sends you a full report — who called, what about, and the risk level. Based on this, you decide whether to add the number to the senior's contacts.
No. CallNinja has no access to the senior's conversations with known numbers — those calls go directly to their phone. The AI Receptionist only converses with unfamiliar numbers, and you receive only a text report of the conversation. The senior's privacy is our priority.
Yes. In the CallNinja app, you can add multiple dependents and manage protection for each one separately. You can also invite other people (e.g., siblings) to co-manage a specific senior's protection.
